New Lilly!

I love when there are new items from my favorite stores, especially Lilly!! Whilst at school today, I checked my email to find a lovely note from Lilly Pulitzer, informing me of their new additions. It was too good to be true!

Lee Cardigan Printed in Black Bang Bang
Being the sweater queen that I am, I adore this cardigan! Its basically a cutoff version of the adorable dress in the same print!

Stephanie Shift in Brewster Blue Novelty Big Bang
Cute, cute, cute! I love the colors in this dress. It's so fun!

Shauna Tunic Dress
Such a cute LBD! My mom likes this dress and I think it's perfect for her! The gold on the bottom is too cool!
Adelson Dress Metallic Twill
This dress and the two below are my favorites. I live for shift dresses, hence my automatic love for the Adelson dress. Compared to the obsessively massive amount of summer shift dresses I have, there is definitely a lack of winter shift dresses! Maybe this could fill the gap!

Kaya Dress Dash Jacquard
This dress reminds me of a similar looking dress from last year (it's pink and white). I love retro looking dresses and this is perfect!
Taylor Dress Engineered
Oh my goodness this is a perfect dress. The shape is perfect, the colors are perfect...I adore it! I want places to wear these dresses! Give me social events!!

What do y'all like from the new additions? Let me know!

Rain, Rain, Rain...

Since the weather doesn't seem to want to make anyone happy, I've resorted to finding pictures of cute rainboots to perk myself up. When it rains, you might as well be dressed in style!

Bean's Wellies, Print
I really, really like the L.L. Bean boots shown above. Even though I cannot help myself when I see plaid, these are perfect rainboots! They're L.L. Bean, so you know they're well made and practical, and hello...they're PLAID.
The Original Wellington for Women in Fuschia
Of course, these would be my favorites. There're some girls at my school that wear the silver Hunter boots... and I just much prefer pink! It's so happy! I've never seen it in person, though, but I hope the color is the same as in the picture!
The Original Wellington for Women in Green
These are the rainboots that I have. They're classic Hunter boots and I actually wore them to school yesterday as it was absolutely pouring. And, oh my goodness, there are these inserts that you can put in the boots that are extremely fuzzy socks and they're SO CUTE! So, there I was yesterday in my green Hunters and pink wellie socks, while everyone else was in their unoriginal black (...or silver...) boots and it felt great. Pink and green!

Speaking of pink and green, here are some ADORABLE Lilly wellies that were available a couple of years ago! I know that it's horrible for me to post these boots when they're not available anymore! Does anyone have these? I'm so jealous!

I hope that everyone has a fabulous day!!

My Needlepoint Belts

I've wanted to do a post on this for a while, but I've had to collect all the belts that my talented mother has made for me and my family! She has had the hobby of needlepointing for about...8 years now? A long time.

I loooove this belt. I've been wearing it a lot more recently, actually. It's a couple of years old but fortunately it still fits.

I love love love this belt! It's so cute! It's so fun! It reminds me of Lilly! It has yet to be made though, but it will be ready just in time for next spring!

My mom is going to start this belt soon, I've heard. There are different adorable designs for the purses on the belt!

My mother made this belt for me like 4, maybe 5 years ago. It's so cute and fun! It also has my monogram on the ribbon part.

This is the newest addition to the belt collection. It's my western-y belt with 3 different scenes of horses on it!

I hope everyone has a great Monday!

Sweater Fun

I am absolutely dying for sweaters. It's too hot and humid right now, and I want fall to come! So, here are some of my favorite sweaters for this fall!

Fuller Street V-Neck Sweater
I really do love Vineyard Vines. This fall we've had a reunion and it has made me very happy. This sweater also comes in navy and "pink squid" (a peachy pink)!

Somerset Turtleneck
I have had my eye on this turtleneck for a while. My mother and I are the queens of turtlenecks and this one is TOO CUTE! It comes in white, navy, and pink squid. Also, I love the buttons on the collar and sleeve!

Lee Cardigan  Printed

Alcott Argyle Cardigan
Paley Cardigan Silk Twill
Here are three adorable cardigans from Lilly Pulitzer!

What sweaters do y'all like for fall? Let me know!

The Trials and Tribulations of Hair: Favorite Haircuts

Oh, hair. How I love to hate you. Here are some envy-worthy hairstyles that I love!

Does anyone remember the 2009 Vanity Fair with Jessica Simpson on the cover? I adore her (and her hair in this issue!). It was very retro and pretty and I am in love with it. It's tempting me...

As y'all know, The Holiday is one of my all-time favorite movies, and Cameron Diaz's hair is to DIE for. It's the perfect length, it's cute, and it's super blonde. I'm definitely partial to short hair, as that's what I've had for basically my entire life...

Of course, I have to add in my collection of Grace Kelly's impeccable hairstyles.

Even though I don't watch Mad Men (my parents do), I just adore Betty Draper (January Jones). I love her clothes, her (ex) husband (Jon Hamm!) and her hair. Her character is basically an imitation of Grace Kelly, but still!!

This is Camilla Belle. She's an actress, even though she's never been in anything, but her style is fantastic and her hair always looks great. She was part of the "long bob" movement, but now she's growing out her hair.  Either way, I want it!

Have a great weekend everybody!
