Preppy New Year's Outfits

New Year's Eve is tomorrow, and with the exciting holiday comes fun parties! Here are my outfit ideas for ladies and men!

Here are my two outfits for girls! The one on the left is the more casual option (and probably the one I'm going to be wearing tomorrow night!!), and the one on the right is for fancy New Year's parties. I love anything sparkly, and pairing sparkles with more classic items such as riding boots (from Madwell) and tartan shirts (from J. Crew) makes it more appropriate and versatile! For the second outfit (which I previously mentioned in my Holiday Party Dress post), this Lilly Pulitzer dress will do the trick for New Year's parties! It's very girly yet perfect for the holiday because of the gold in the dress, as well as the gold accessories. The earrings are from Kate Spade and the shoes are from Lilly.

Since I am not an aficionado at putting together men's outfits, I consulted my ridiculously preppy brother about what to wear for New Year's. He chose his outfits from Rugby (his go-to brand) and Ralph Lauren. Again, the one on the left is the more casual option as opposed to the right side which is very fancy. The left is pretty self explanatory as well as being my brother's go to outfit for any occasion. The tweed jacket can worn with various ties and dress shirts, so there are a lot of nice options! For the right side (which my brother would wear to school if he had the chance), he chose a Ralph tux with a black watch bow tie and cummerbund. My family loooves black watch, and I think it looks so cool for New Year's!

What are y'all wearing on New Year's Eve? Let me know!!

Have a great day! I'm going back home today so I'm going to be on various planes until midnight. I'm still recovering from my mysterious week long sickness so hopefully it doesn't get worse being on the miserable plane rides all day long!

Southern Ties

I just found this brand! Oh my goodness!! While they mostly have bow ties, there are 2 standout items on the Southern Ties website that I have fallen in love with.

This koozie is too cute. IT'S PINK.

I love love love love love LOVE this t-shirt. It's so cute and girly and I'm buying it right now.

Sorry for this completely inarticulate post!!

Have a great night!!

Preppy Winter Accessories

I thought I would post some cute hats, scarves, and gloves for the winter season! I am finally feeling the cold now that I'm in ski country (especially since it feels like spring in CT)! Here are my favorite winter items from my favorite brands:

I died when I saw that Lilly Pulitzer was making winter accessories. I got the set with the scarf, earmuffs, and gloves for Christmas and I LOVE them. The print is so cute, especially since it's pink and green!

The past three images were from Rugby Ralph Lauren, but from the men's section. I almost prefer some of the men's items because they are always so preppy and classic.

Lastly, here are 3 cute accessories from Kate Spade! KS never fails to disappoint with their whimsical designs. I am obsessed with their hats; I have a couple and they're so funny and cute!!

What do y'all like to wear to get away from the cold? Let me know!

Have a great day!

Prepping for Christmas!!

On Monday, once we arrived in Jackson Hole, my family and I started to put up our Christmas decorations!! My brother had fun taking pictures of everything, so here are the best from the day!

For some reason, putting on the lights is always a hassle....

My mother needlepoints everything, so here are some of her needlepointed ornaments!

Have a very merry Christmas eve!!

Finally!! Pictures of my room!!

My room has finally been decorated!!! It's taken a while for everything to come in, but the final result is definitely worth it. Just as note: these pictures were taken over a course of a couple of days, so some things may be moved around!

The color scheme is coral, light blue, white, and brown. When we moved in, the walls were already light blue and we weren't going to paint anything. So, my mother and I worked around what we had and created this lovely, lovely room!!

The duvet is a coral pattern, and the headboard is a coral zebra print. Some of the monogrammed pillows haven't come in yet, though.

Here are pictures of my best friends and my brother....

I don't know if y'all can tell, but there are sea shells inside of my lamps on my bedside tables!

I have a coral chair with a little table (this is the before picture, I hadn't hung up the coral pictures yet).

Here is my bathroom!! I have monogrammed towels in coral and in white, and there are Grace Kelly film pictures hung up. I also have a picture of me and my best friend, as well as little containers that are coral and beachy!

More pictures in my bathroom...

I have a little side room connected to my room where I do my homework. I love the print of the chair!!

Some remnants of my old room...

There's a huge chest against one of the walls that holds EVERYTHING.......books, bags, school work, etc!!

I have books and pictures inside of my huge dresser...

More pictures (from prom!) on my vanity!

Here's "Lilly"!!

What do y'all think!?? Let me know!!

Have a great day!!
