Pancake Pantry

One of the best places to eat in Nashville is the Pancake Pantry. I cannot even tell y'all how good it is!! 

It started in 1961, and my mom has been going there ever since she was born. Whenever we go to Nashville, the Pancake Pantry is at the top of our list for go-to places to eat. 

The last time I went there was about a month ago when I was visiting Vandy, and I managed to snap a picture of my personal favorite item on the menu: the Cherries Supreme. It literally tastes like cherry pie pancakes!!

Junior Switch Day

Every year during the last week of classes, my school has "junior switch day". Basically, it's when the girls dress like boys and the boys dress like the girls. I have been waiting since freshman year to switch and today was the actual day!! It was a lot of fun. 

I wore my brother's Lilly tie, yellow oxford (which could have been a dress...), pink shorts, needlepoint belt, and madras baseball cap.

Everyone kept joking about me and my friend EW being typical frat bros. It was so much fun, especially to see the guys in our school kilts!!

I can't believe this year has only 1 more week left and then I'm a senior!! It's absolute crazy!! Yesterday it was senior skip day and all of the juniors got to park in the senior lot. It was the best feeling and it definitely felt like we were the oldest in the school then!!

Elephants from Elizabeth McCay

I love elephants (especially pink ones...they're currently the background of my laptop!), and I thought it was so cute when Elizabeth McCay featured an elephant print for her spring/summer clothing line.

Here is a pretty strapless dress with navy elephants on it...

Elizabeth McCay is also donating $100 from every sale of the Red Elephant blouse (shown above) to the University of Alabama's Act of Kindness Fund. The fund raises money to help faculty and students of UA who were affected by the recent tornados.

Watching all of the TV episodes that I've missed recently.

Depending on the night...sometimes I can fall asleep at 9, others at 11:30. But usually because of school, 10:30.

Two - Seventeen and Teen Vogue

4. Did you sell all your belongings because you thought the world was ending yesterday?

Haha definitely not!

5. What's your beauty obsession?

Hmm what to choose........probably my flat iron! I couldn't go a day without it! 

6. If you could only wear one designer/brand for the rest of your life...what would it be?

Lilly Pulitzer of course!

7. What's your summer must have?

Lilly shift or swimsuit.

8. Do you make weekly dinner menus? 

No, but I do plan all my breakfasts and lunches!

Smathers and Branson Headbands

I had been on the Smathers and Branson website a couple of times, but for some reason I never realized that they have adorable and preppy needlepoint headbands! 

The colors in this headbands are too cute.

I have a ribbon headband of this plaid, but it's not as cute as the needlepoint version!

Lilly Outfit of the Week: Summer Style

This has to be one of my favorite dresses from Lilly Pulitzer. I would buy it in every color if they sold it again. It fits great, the color is pretty, and I love the beading!!

College Gear - Vandy!

Vanderbilt. My dream school beyond anything I have ever imagined. Vandy is honestly the college I'm supposed to go to, but since the admissions process there is so dang hard, I will just try my hardest in hopes of getting in!! I love going to the Vanderbilt bookstore online and browsing the adorable clothes and accessories they have for sale!

I looove bumper stickers. Currently, the only stickers I have on my car are 2 from Jackson Hole and a pink and green Republican elephant, but I would love to have a Vandy sticker sticking proudly to my car!

 

These are too cute. My mom got me the cheerleader bear for Christmas, and it's just SO ADORABLE. It's my 2nd Vandy cheerleader item (I have a black baseball cap that says "Vanderbilt Cheerleader")! It's just wishful thinking though, I am not a cheerleader (only because my school in CT doesn't have a team!)!

My dad has a normal letterman jacket, but this a VANDERBILT letterman!!

I love the mini Vanderbilt flags! I have 2 hung up in my room right now for inspiration! Also, in the college guidance office at my school, they have tons of college flags hung up around the room with the names of the students who have attended that school written on them. I can't wait to write mine down (whether it be Vandy or any college, I just can't wait!!).

These could have come in handy when it started to pour during one of my Vandy tours!! 

I have a couple pair of these mini shorts and they are the BEST.

This is hilarious!!

I LOVE my pink Vanderbilt water bottle. I carry it around everywhere!!

Lose It!

Does anyone use the website Lose It to track calories?

I am absolutely obsessed with this website. It's really great for maintaining and losing weight because it offers so many guidelines and settings to track calories consumed and calories burned. If y'all use this website, add me (Hannah H) as a friend!!

Here are my preppy summer essentials!!

Headbands from Lotus and Lilly

I love, love, love Lotus and Lilly. They have such cute new and vintage Lilly Pulitzer fabrics. Also, the headbands don't give me headaches, which is a plus!! These handbands will go with all your preppy summer clothing, whether they be printed or solid!! You can also get a clutch to match!!

Lilly Pulitzer Shift Dresses

 

Of course, Lilly dresses are the ultimate accessory. There are a lot of great vintage, slightly old ones, and new ones on eBay, the occasional Rue La La sale, and the Lilly website! These dresses are perfect for every occasion.

Jack Rogers Sandals

I have been living in Jack Rogers sandals since I was a little girl. I love them!! They also come in some many cute colors!!

Aviator Sunglasses

Perfect for a sunny day!! Ray Ban is my personal favorite, but Lilly has some cute alternatives.

Bermuda Bags

I did a post on bermuda bags last month, and I can't wait to use them more often.

Light Cardigans from Lilly Pulitzer

Cardigans are great for layering over Lilly shift dresses! My favorite is the new Paley Cardigan Beach. I'm actually wearing it right now! It has 3/4 length sleeves which is great for summer.

J. Crew 3-inch Chino Shorts

I have been wearing J. Crew shorts since I was 12. They come in 3 different lengths (3 inch, 5 inch, and bermuda length), and I love all 3. I prefer the shortest length, and the pink shorts shown above are great for summer! There are so many colors and prints to choose from.

Lilly Pulitzer Bikinis

The ultimate summer staple is the bikini. I like the strapless bikini the best because there are no tan lines! Lilly also has great one pieces. 

Madras Skirts from Just Madras

One of my favorite skirts of all time is my madras skirt from Just Madras. It's a good length, a pretty madras, and so preppy!! Just Madras also has other prints that are cute.
