Top 5 Favorite Beauty Products

I am absolutely obsessed with everything beauty related, and I love sharing my favorite items that I've come across! I am always looking for new products to try out.

(1) Moroccan Oil is literally God's gift to women, men, children, pets, EVERYONE. I love, love, love it so much because of how much it improves the look and feel of my hair. If you are looking for a quick and wonderful fix, use the basic Moroccan Oil after towel drying your hair. But, if you want to go all out, use the amazing shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, anti-frizz spray, and moisturizer. My mom and I have everything! It smells amazing and it's really just the best.

(2) If you are looking for a cheaper hair fix, my favorite drugstore hair product is Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle. Whether you use it for 30 seconds or the full 3 minutes, this deep conditioner is great! It smells soooo good and it's fantastic for repairing your hair!

(3) I have spoken of my love for Benefit's BadGal Lash many times, and I cannot stress enough how great this mascara is. If I could live on one makeup item, it would be this mascara. It literally gives you lashes. Whenever I wear it, people think I'm wearing false eyelashes!

(4) To pump up your lashes even more, use an Eyelash Curler. I like the Shu Uemura eyelash curler (everyone's favorite). It makes your eyes look bigger and your lashes look longer/fuller instantly! I sometimes heat it up using my blow dryer to give my lashes a bigger punch.

(5) Lastly, I am a huge fan of Burt's Bees Chapstick. There are soo many to choose from! Recently, I've been using the ultra conditioning formula, and it's great! I'm sitting out in the sun most of the day during the summer, so it's inevitable for my lips to burn. But, with Burt's Bees chapstick, they stay nice and healthy!

Are there any beauty products that y'all can't live without? Let me know!

Have a lovely day!!

In the Kitchen: Oatmeal Craisin Cookies

Even though I was the head of my extracurricular baby, the Baking Club, my senior year, I wasn't the super baker because of how much work I had to do during the school year. I made the occasional funfetti cupcakes, but it was really my mother that was the baker extraordinaire. She makes sugar cookies that are actually famous at my old high school! So, I decided to give baking cookies a try.

There's a recipe on the top of the Quaker Quick Oats container for oatmeal raisin cookies that I used a couple of days ago. I am not a huge fan of raisins, so instead I used my favorite craisins as a substitute! The recipe was super easy and the cookies turned out fabulously well!

I am very proud of my first batch of cookies, so I literally took 20 pictures of them at different stages of the baking process...at multiple "artsy" angles. I bought myself a camera for graduation so I thought it would be the perfect time to experiment with the different programs!

What do y'all like to bake? Let me know!

Have a great day!!

Riding in Style

One of my first posts ever for this blog was about cute bikes, including the two bikes that my mom and I have. They are from Electra and we absolutely adore them!

As I stated in that absolutely ancient post, we use these bikes when we're in Jackson Hole. Since we pretty much stay in the same little area, they are a really great way to get around!

My mom has the pink Electra cruiser. She recently added some fake flowers to the wicker basket on the front of the bike, and they are so cute!

My mom also decorated my basket for the 4th of July, and I haven't gotten around to taking the decorations off! I loooove my bike, especially the daisy pattern!

Have a lovely day!!

The Very Patriotic Frat Collection + Olympics

The Frat Collection is completely blowing up around the country, especially with the college crowd! If y'all aren't familiar with the brand, they are a Southern based company that spiced up the regular t-shirt by adding a pocket in a fun print or pattern.

I bought the long-sleeved Betsy t-shirt around the 4th of July when I was feeling even more patriotic than usual! I love how comfortable it is, and I really love the American flag pattern of the pocket. I'm definitely bringing it with me to college in the fall!

On another note, the Olympics Opening Ceremony is today and I am so excited to watch it!!!! I will be avidly watching the games for the next couple of weeks. I've figured that the Frat Collection Betsy shirt will also double as a way to show support for our great country during the Olympics! GO USA!

Have y'all bought anything from the Frat Collection? If so, what pocket did you choose? Also, who's excited for the Olympics? Let me know!

Have a great day!

The Best Raincoat Ever!

A couple of months ago I went snooping around for a rain jacket for college, and I found the best one ever from Vineyard Vines! VV is one of my favorite brands ever, and I was so happy about the great jacket I bought, the Stow and Go

I looove the light blue color, and it's also very lightweight. I lived in it during senior spring because of how comfy it was (as well as how gross it was during this past Connecticut spring). The coolest thing about this jacket is that you can, for a lack of a better word, stuff the jacket into the pocket so it can be easily packed!

Here are the other colors that the Stow and Go Rain Coat comes in:

Hokay...SUPER huge post! I found some super sneaky pictures of the NEW Lilly Pulitzer collection for Fall 2012! I hope y'all enjoy!

I'm OBSESSED with a capital O with the elephant print on the tank top shown above!

The middle dress is so pretty!

Looove the dress on the left!

Again, love the print on the shirt on the right! And the shirt!

That pink blazer is too cute!

Super cute dress on the left!

That middle dress. Oh my goodness gracious.

Cute tops for college!

Pretty dress on the left!

The shirt in the middle is adorable!

What do I think of the new Fall 2012 collection? I like it. Lilly has officially taken a different direction in their look, as well as target clients. There are a few dresses and shirts that I like from the line, and the some prints are pretty, but I'm not completely obsessed with the entire collection. Who knows, though? Things often look much different in person!

What do y'all like from the new Lilly Pulitzer Fall collection? Comment with y'alls opinions!

Have a great day!!
